Where we are now

The world is pretty dark right now:

• The domestic situation in the US is unprecedented, chaotic and scary
• Russia (helped by Iran, China and North Korea) is still pounding Ukraine (helped by Europe and the USA(?)) and has lost 1,000,000 soldiers in the process
• The USA appears to attempting regime change in Venezuela without Congressional approval. It is unclear why they are attacking another country; if they succeed, then what, another Iraq or Afghanistan? If they withdraw they lose face badly and increase the stature of Venezuela's leader.

Two points:

1. The citizens of Russia, Iran, China, North Korea, Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Venezuela and the USA are not at war with each other - it's the politicians who lead states into needless war, but don't sacrifice.
2. Where are the peacemakers? Certainly not in power. The US Military slogan "Peace through Strength" actually means peace through fear which is not peace at all.

AI

If that isn't dark enough, there is AI. Commandeered by politicians and the military all over the world, it is being applied to advanced weaponry and citizen surveillance. Hallucinating AI autonomously in charge of nuclear weapons spells inevitable doom for us all.

It's no wonder that people all over the world are living in anxiety and fear of the future.

It's time for dawn

It's time for regular citizens to replace anxiety and fear with relief and hope. Top down control by The Powerful Few has run its course - it simply is not sustainable.

It's time for a new paradigm - Citizen-led Future (CLF) - that leads, with love, to peace, opportunity and wellbeing for all (POW4all). In other words:

We the people, own our power, reinvent the rules and lead the world to

A Citizen-led Future turns the power hierarchy upside down and makes world peace a possibility rather than a pageant platitude.

And it makes "Government of the people, by the people, for the people" a reality.

Is a Citizen-led Future really possible??

Yes. If it sounds unrealistic, it's because no one has done it before.

It does require us (the Powerless Many) to step up to the plate and co-create an alternative to the top-down hierarchy. Which begs the questions:

If not us, who? If not now, when?

I predict that that we go through the 3 movements - GenR Rising, Citizen-led Democracy and Peace Leadership - we'll look back and wonder why we didn't do it sooner.

Imagine

Einstein said "Logic will take you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere". To create the Citizen-led Future we need imagination. That's why in every post there is an "Imagine" section. So, sit back, read the next paragraph, close your eyes and imagine...

Imagine it's 2040 and you have just received confirmation that the last nuclear weapon in the world has been dismantled. Humanity has turned a corner. Imagine the satisfaction and joy you feel knowing that you played an instrumental role in ensuring your children and all future generations can grow up without the threat of being vaporized by an atomic blast.

Just sit with that feeling of satisfaction and joy for a minute.

Is that worth $100?

One More Thing

No matter our “tribe”, music can touch our soul and bring tears to our eyes. Beethoven, the Beatles and Beyoncé have two things in common, the initial B and the fact that they move people all over the world - through music they raise your vibration and make you feel good.

So music is a major part of the love, fun together energy of GenR Rising. Each post on this site features music. 

Right now, it may be hard to imagine that you can transform your life and help create a world that lives together in peace.

But as you know, imagination can take you everywhere...

So, are you ready to break free of top-down chains?
